🕊️ Purpose of the Role

The Volunteer Administrative Assistant serves as a vital support pillar for Rescue For Life International. By managing the essential "behind-the-scenes" details, you enable our ministry to focus on rescuing and restoring women and children who are in distress. This role is a practical application of 1 John 3:16–18, where we show God's love not just through words, but through the organized and truthful actions required to run a life-saving ministry.

📋 Key Responsibilities

  • Communication Support: Manage phone calls, the ministry email account, responding to general inquiries with warmth and professionalism.

  • Data Management: Assist in maintaining our donor and partner database to ensure our supporters stay connected to the mission.

  • Documentation: Help organize digital files, meeting minutes, and ministry reports.

  • Scheduling: Coordinate calendars for ministry events, outreach programs, or board meetings.

  • Special Projects: Provide administrative assistance for seasonal fundraising campaigns or awareness events.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace / Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with prayerful confidentiality.

  • Clear and compassionate written and verbal communication.

 

⏳ Commitment & Impact

  • Time Commitment: 4 hours per week (the Volunteer Admin Assistant will manage the phone calls and the Ministry account emails remotely during the office hours (Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM)). The schedule is flexible but requires a weekly check-in on Tuesday mornings.
