In a world of increasing hardship, many women and children experience severe challenges in silence. We are driven by a profound commitment to deliver critical wrap-around services, reinforce family stability, and ensure that no one is left behind.

Across Maryland, families face acute systemic barriers and isolating crises—including domestic violence and economic housing instability. Built on a 15-year legacy of global and regional crisis response, our organization is structured to disrupt this cycle, turning empathy into immediate, structured action.
We stand firmly for inclusion, welcoming and serving all individuals experiencing distress with dignity, respect, and unconditional care, regardless of their background or beliefs.

To fulfill this critical mission, Rescue for Life International operates the Hope Center. Through this dedicated infrastructure, we deliver an immediate safety net across Maryland, actively providing emergency crisis shelter, long-term stabilization tracking, and safe, sliding-scale childcare to protect mothers and children navigating these hardships.

Simultaneously, we extend our impact globally by providing vital, life-sustaining relief to children left without parental care and anchoring dedicated field worker families weathering extreme isolation on the frontlines.

II: Our History & Vision: A 15-Year Journey of Hope and Impact
From a Train Station in India to the Frontlines of Central Maryland
The Spark: New Delhi, 2008
Our journey did not begin in a boardroom or a corporate office; it began with a broken heart.
​
In 2008, while standing at a crowded train station in New Delhi, India, our founder witnessed a profound crisis that would alter the course of his life forever: young children facing acute, unmitigated hardships without adult protection or access to basic systemic care. Deeply moved by compassion, he answered a calling to step outside his comfort zone and dedicate his life to the hands-on protection, shelter, and urgent relief of families navigating severe crisis.
The Proof of Concept: Chad, 2010
By August 2010, that calling materialized into active service. Our founder launched a foundational frontline mission in Chad, dedicated to protecting street-connected youth, children left without parental care, and youth experiencing severe economic barriers.

Officially authorized and licensed by the Chadian government, this vital work expanded over the years, ultimately renaming itself "Maison des Orphelins et des Enfants de la rue du Tchad" (The House for Orphans and Street Children of Chad) in 2016.
​
For over a decade, this initiative served as our structural proof of concept—proving that even under extreme geographic isolation and severe supply shortages, a dedicated, disciplined team can successfully protect, sustain, and uplift lives.

The Vision & Expansion: Maryland, 2025
Guided by a deep vision of global growth and service, our organization recognized a calling to expand our reach. Inspired by the concept of growing like a majestic, deeply rooted tree, Rescue for Life International was envisioned as a centralized place of structural shelter, safety, and hope where vulnerable women, children, and families of all nations could find rest and security.

Carrying this vision forward, our founder relocated to the United States in February 2025. Driven by a compelling necessity to act, Rescue for Life International was officially incorporated as a nonprofit public charity in the State of Maryland in September 2025.
​
Today, we are bringing our 15-year global legacy of frontline rescue home to the Central Maryland corridor. We are actively answering the call to provide urgent relief, emergency shelter, and essential care to women and children right here in our community through the Hope Center—providing a licensed, safe, multi-age early childhood center and crisis shelter framework.
