Joel Tinodjiel Nodjiassem

Joel Tinodjiel Nodjiassem is the founder and president of Rescue for Life International (RLI), an organization he leads entirely as an unpaid volunteer. He brings a profound sense of service, strong leadership, and over 15 years of experience in database management and technical systems to this vital role.

 

His solid track record in international humanitarian leadership began in 2010 when he founded and directed Maison des Orphelins et des Enfants de la rue du Tchad (MOERT) (the House of Orphans and Street Children of Chad). Under his direct management for several years, this government-approved national non-profit organization served as a model, effectively protecting and supporting street youth and vulnerable families under extreme geographic conditions.

 

His field-based humanitarian work in Chad also includes managing complex child sponsorship databases and field tracking programs for World Vision, as well as administering critical health and nutrition data at the Dar es Salaam refugee camp with the International Medical Corps.

 

Specializing in database administration, system synchronization, and IT infrastructure management, Joel volunteers all of his time and expertise to keep RLI running. He directs all operations from the Rescue for Life International headquarters in Ellicott City, Maryland. His selfless leadership ensures that resources are directly allocated to building strong, secure frameworks that support, empower, and protect vulnerable families, both locally in Central Maryland and across the globe.
